Living food! Alive with nutrition…

Doesn’t that make your mouth water? The colors, the textures, the freshness… Loaded with vital nutrients, minerals, and vitamins. Packed with LIVING enzymes and vitality! Our Creator gave us all that we need to live a HEALTHY life, even as modified and mass-produced as it is today, health inhabits LIVING foods…

We were never designed to eat DEAD things… How can abundant life come from what is dead or artificial? It makes logical sense, doesn’t your mind and heart agree within you, bearing witness to this truth? EAT LIFE!

HippocratesLet food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”Hippocrates

Living, whole, sun ripe, raw, organic foods are the keys to great health and vitality. They are the givers of life energy and the healers of disease. Living foods contain the vital energy of each of the Elements of Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. Being filled by the Elements in their ‘raw’ form is essential to the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and vitality.

The live food concept is not new; it has been around since the beginning of time. One example not widely known are the Essenes. The Essenes and the Nazarenes of biblical times are believed to be simple food eaters that grew their own food. In The Essene Gospel of Peace, Book 1, Jesus says,

“Kill neither men, nor beasts, nor yet the food which goes into your mouth. For if you eat living food, the same will quicken you, but if you kill your food, the dead food will kill you also. For life comes only from life, and from death comes always death. For everything, which kills your foods, kills your bodies also. And everything, which kills your bodies, kills your souls also. And your bodies become what your foods are, even as your spirits likewise become what your thoughts are. Therefore, eat not anything which fir, or frost, or water has destroyed. For burned, frozen and rotted foods will burn, freeze and rot your body also.”

The Essene and Nazarite lifestyle of eating simple, living foods is well documented and makes for interesting reading. It also brings up the debate about if Jesus and the Nazarites, as well as the Essenes, were not meat eaters. Since the New Testament has Jesus and his Disciples eating fish, and indeed some were “fishermen,” I am not yet convinced by the claims of some that they were vegetarians. Nor do I consider the quote above 100% verifiable words of the Jewish Messiah. But it does give one much to ponder…

Dr. James Tabor, an academic theologian, has recently written an excellent blog article about this understanding of how Jesus and the Disciples ate, as well as people like Daniel throughout the Scriptures. It is very informative.
